With close to 20 years of practice, she is academically trained in fine arts, holding Bachelor's and Master's from the School of Visual Arts, along with separate degrees in sculpture and science, and is a certified yoga teacher.
As an artist and educator, Anka leads a creative studio in nature where she integrates yoga and fine art practice. She is developing The Ankatsu Method™, a teaching methodology that combines fine art training with transformative power of yoga.
Her personal work explores perception. Transforming what she observes into color, form, and structure her pieces are neither literal nor fully abstract—inviting reflection on humanity and the natural world.
Now based in Costa Rica. Here she embraced surfing, family life and continues to practice art and yoga, letting nature shape her days.
